What happens if my child does not get chosen for the SSUFC Team?
There are plenty of options to play soccer on the South Shore. SSUFC is currently servicing the high performance players in the South Shore and we can't select everyone. There are local clubs: Queen's County, Thunder FC, Upper County, West Nova Fuels, and Chester United who all provide programming from U5-U18 for boys and girls. If players get released from SSUFC, they are encouraged to reach out to their local club and continuing playing the game!
If you can't find your local club's contact information, reach out to technical@ssufc.ca and we will help guide you.
Can my child who is between U5-U9 play soccer for SSUFC in the summer?
No, unfortunately SSUFC does not offer any Mini Programs in the summer. The local clubs provide Mini Programs to all the U5-U9 groups in the South Shore. At SSUFC, U11 is the youngest age group we offer through the summer.
Can my child who is between U5-U9 play soccer for SSUFC in the WINTER?
Yes! In the WINTER, SSUFC offers two 8-week Mini Sessions for U5-U9.
When does registration open for the summer season?
Registration will open April 1st, 2023. If it opens before, we will announce on our social media pages.
