Awarded to the player who gives it their all, is respectful, engaging, and positive to a fault. Their drive, determination, and spirit inspires their team to reach for greatness!
- Male recipient - Jeremy Green, Fundy Ford Broncos, Jeremy is a Grade 12 student at KVHS. Been with the club his whole youth career (sister is at CF Montreal actually) and is now captain of our Boys team. Not only is he a strong and competent centre back, but it’s his leadership and empathy that make him such a valuable team leader. He’s a wonderful ambassador for the club and for his teammates, he is an incredibly supportive attitude and he’s a very calm and rational young man. Beyond the soccer fields, he’s a top class student (high 90’s), volunteers in a number of leadership capacities at his high school and leads a unified sport program, which is an all ability sport program for special needs students. He spearheads and coaches, but also actively seeks out funding and sponsorship. I can honestly say as a person he’s mature beyond his years and is a credit to what his teammates aspire to be. He will be a person who changes our world for the better!
- Female recipient - Maddie Quirk, South Shore United FC, Maddie travels from the Valley multiple times each week to train and compete with our team, demonstrating an exceptional level of commitment and dedication. From day one, she has been a constant source of positivity and encouragement, bringing energy and light into every room she enters. No challenge, long drive, or tough moment has been able to shake her positive mindset. Her drive, determination, and unwavering spirit truly embody what this award represents. Maddie inspires those around her to push harder, stay positive, and strive for greatness.
