Here is the schedule for each age group:
TOTSTARS (U3): 5:00 - 5:30 PM
United Minis (U5) & United Juniors (U7): 5:30 - 6:30 PM (shared field)
United Youth (U9): 6:30 - 8:00 PM
TOTSTARS introduces physical literacy through fun, soccer-based movements and activities designed to build fundamental motor skills.
United Minis & United Juniors focus on learning through play. Players will participate in age-appropriate games that develop foot coordination and proper body movements essential to soccer.
United Youth begins to introduce technical and tactical aspects of the game. Sessions will include skill development followed by structured gameplay as part of the SSU U9 House League, where players will compete in matches against other SSU U9 teams.
Each program will be led by our team of dedicated SSU Mini Program Head Coaches, supported by assistant coaches to ensure a high-quality experience for all players and adhere to our very high standard of player to coach ratios
We are also setting up Spond groups for each program. Parents and players registered will be added to their respective groups. Spond will be used to confirm attendance and allow coaches to communicate directly with families. Those invitations will be in your email in the next few days.
This brand new Totstars program is an introduction to physical literacy through soccer based movements and designs. In this program parents are expected to be on the field and active with their child for encouragement and support.
The United Minis program is soccer based learning through play (games). These games are designed to challenge each player on their foot coordination as well as the correct body movements in the game of soccer. The program is designed to run 4 different types of games and half way through the training block transition to other more challenging ones.
Parents are encouraged to participate with their child if needed, parents/guardians MUST be present at all times during the duration of the session.
The United Juniors program is soccer based learning through play (games). These games are designed to challenge each individual player on their foot coordination as well as the correct body movements in the game of soccer as well as introducing opposition.
Parents/guardians MUST be present at all times during the duration of the session.
The United Youth program begins to focus on the technical/tactical understanding in soccer. This will include longer sessions and more structured gameplay relating to soccer. Learning about formations and roles of players within the game.
Parents/guardians MUST be present at all times during the duration of the session.
